Welcome to the Hwang casita! My name is Elizabeth, but to friends and family it's Liz for short. I was born and raised a Southern Cali girl. My ethnic background has played a big role in my inspiration and love for food. Yes, I am Mexican! What about the Chinese last name? That was a gift from my sweet husband. Thanks love!
As a little girl my favorite place and fondest memories were in the kitchen watching my abuelitas cook. It wasn't until I married that I found my hidden talent. Ha! Who would have known!? After all, sandwiches for breakfast, lunch and din were my specialty and now as a mother of three life can be busy and that is why I have decided to create and inspire meals that are time friendly, frugal, while trying to stay current with today's trends.
